Mentor Console

Access and Identity Management

The Mentor Console provides secure access to Mentor Enterprise system components based on the role of the user logging on to the System.

 

This security model is integrated with Windows 2000/3 Active Directory services as recommended by the Ministry of Education.

 

The Mentor Console also provides an environment for District Management to display detailed or summary district reporting data for management purposes.

 

MentorSi

Student Information System

The Mentor Student Information System (MentorSi) is the original core component of the Mentor product line.  

 

MentorSi has the flexibility of managing all aspects of school operations for self-paced learning environments as well as mixed-mode delivery supporting traditional K-12 classrooms.

 

From a small learning center to District wide operations, MentorSi is designed to provide a foundation for mission critical district systems accommodating a wide range of users.

 

MentorCm

Mentor Course Manager

 

Mentor Course Manager is a learning management system integrated with MentorSi to support course design, delivery and student tracking.

 

One of the key features of MentorCm is the ability to perform automated Progress and Marks tracking of student achievement for updating MentorSi. 

 

Based on a simple database driven course structure, Teachers and Course Designers can rapidly develop, deploy and track comprehensive course content to a wide audience.

 

A course repository portal hosted by Mentor Manager Systems from our Nelson Data Center allows schools to easily share courses and collaborate on content development.

 

MentorSn

Mentor Student Navigator

Mentor Learner is a high performance, web-based .Net application used by students to access their courses for online learning from any workstation.

 

This .Net Framework is designed to be a container for future applications developed by Mentor Manager Systems or the school district.

 

Currently components for conferencing and course level discussion forums are in development for deployment within the Ministry Electronic Learning Pilot Program.

 

MentorMg

Ministry Gateway

Mentor Ministry Gateway manages all critical data integration tasks with the Ministry of Education.

 

From capturing key demographics data to supporting school funding, forwarding interim and final grades, MentorMg will continue to be up-to-date with Ministry requirements.

 

 

MentorRp

Report Developer

The report developer is designed to provide selected users with the ability to meet the needs of staff and management adhoc reporting from the system.  

 

With a minimum of training, users can define queries or SQL Server views to use for reports or data exports to other applications.

 

Mentor Sa

Student Access

Mentor Student Access provides Students with access to Attendance Tracking, Student Reports and text messaging to teachers. 

 

Teachers benefit from the self management capabilities of MentorSa and the ability to easily view a list of Students currently onsite.

 

Students have the unique ability to print Report Cards, Graduations Plans and Progress documents on demand

 

 

Mentor Enterprise

Learning Management Systems

 

Student Information with integrated E-Learning software. Mentor provides schools, districts and E-Learning Consortiums with enterprise level software and hosting services to manage education delivery.

 

Mentor Enterprise is a comprehensive web enabled, centralized district database solution providing student management and accountability for Alternate Education, Distance Education, Home School and Self Paced Learning programs.  Mentor Enterprise is developed and deployed with Microsoft technologies - Windows 2003 Server, SQL Server 2000 and .Net web, offering a stable, high performance and secure environment.
